New

With the new year (almost) here, I have been reflecting on all of the changes I’ve made in the past 12 months.  This year has been truly life changing.  I decided to take some much needed advice from my therapist and focus on myself.  From there, great things started to happen.  I lost over 20 pounds.  I forced myself to take chances socially that I NEVER would have considered in the past.  I started saying yes to things I fear.  I started saying no to things that drain me, without feeling guilty.  I created healthy boundaries for toxic relationships.  I started budgeting my money and paid off thousands of dollars in debt.  I started my journey to minimalism and donated hundreds of items to charity.  Oh yeah, and I’m happier:)

For the first time in a long time, I’m excited about the upcoming year.  I am looking forward to paying off more debt, taking more social risks, and continuing to focus on getting better, both mentally and physically.  Life is too short to care about what other people think of my weight.  I’m finally beginning to realize that, and it feels amazing.
